Guided Bike Tour from Prague to Karlštejn Castle

This was a really nice ride, even in the mist. Petr, our guide, was informative, fun and considerate of our 77 year old pace. We were very impressed that Fillipo was careful about the weather and wouldn't let us go on a day when it was expected to rain a lot. We'd highly recommend Biko!

We had an amazing time doing the trip from Prague to Karlsejn by bike. We saw the suburbs in Prague, we traveled through flower fields, bridges and narrow paths through little forests. Everything was great, it was a highlight in our trip to Prague. I definitely recommend doing this if you travel in Prague and the weather is nice and warm.

Biko Adventures was one of the highlights of our Prague trip. I (in my late 20s) traveled to Prague with my parents (in their early 60s) and convinced them to do a 35 kilometer bike tour from Prague to Karlstejn Castle. Neither had been on a bike outdoors in over 15 years. I researched the different tour options available through Biko and found many options I'd be interested in, but the Karlstejn trip turned out to be the best tour for my parents as beginner riders (though a few narrow passages to navigate over bridges). Petar was our guide, and we rode along with two other couples, which was a nice-sized group. It was really great to bike through the countryside, outside of Prague, along the river and end at a beautiful and historic castle which we had to to explore. We finished off with a Czech beer and traditional meal in the town of Karlstejn. I truly recommend Biko in general, as the staff and guides were very friendly and they have a quaint little shop in Prague (which we bought graphic t-shirts from Filippo, the owner), and I especially recommend the Karlstejn tour for travelers looking for a bit of adventure, but on the more leisure side. I would definitely come back to ride with Biko!
