We went on a trip through Litvinov area, mostly to see coal mining and chemical industry. It was very well prepared with exciting sights for industrial enthusiast like me. Being in offroad car and doing a little adrenaline driving was nice bonus.
The guide Martin is well informed and connect information from many different fields - from history to geology to mining industry.

- Learn about the past and present of the unique mining region and hear the story how the nature is being restored after decades of exploitation.
- See a unique church, listed as a national cultural landmark, that was moved so it could be saved from the town that was destroyed to make way for coal mining. Learn why and how it happened.
- Visit a beautiful lake that used to be a large coal mine couple years ago
- Be amazed by the view of the fairy-tale chateau at the edge of a huge surface mine.
- Visit a well-preserved World War II air-raid shelter in an old factory with some original equipment
