When looking for a cycling tour of the Czech countryside I picked Martin's company because I hoped that a new, niche operator would provide a more personal experience than the larger operators that cater to big numbers every day.
Despite some difficulties with my schedule Martin made a special effort to make sure I got the tour I wanted.
Martin has a big passion for showing others the outdoors, away from the crowds.
I had a great day being guided around beautiful countryside, rivers and villages on a brand new bike, taking in the sights and atmosphere. Lunch and beer was welcome and tasty but for me the real delight was in cruising along quiet roads in beautiful nature having a laugh as we went.

If you want explore Prague’s surroundings, this is the way to go!
The peaceful Czech countryside and lush green forests will make you think you’re much further than a few minutes from the city by train.
If you feel like it, we can stop for a swim in the river, or take a break at one of the many little cafés along the way. Or perhaps we can pop into our favourite local bakery? If you prefer paved tracks, no problem. If you don’t mind a bit of dirt, we know some (easy) shortcuts!
The best bit comes at the very end of our ride. We’ll take you to a beautiful meadow surrounded by dense forests, offering the most stunning view of Karlštejn Castle. You can almost feel Charles IV and his companions marching on horses across the meadow…
If you wish, you can attend a 55-minute tour of the castle’s interior for CZK 170 (not included in the tour price).
At the end of the ride you’re welcome to join us for lunch at our favourite restaurant by the castle (included in the tour price).
