I met up with Imogen for the Breakfast Tour shortly after 8 due to my morning foginess and what ensues was a sheer pleasure and delight. It turned out that I was alone on this tour, which was so fortunate for me as it meant that I had Imogen and her wealth of information and anecdotes all to myself. Particularly interesting were the varied stories behind the statues on Charles Bridge, which reveal a startling amount of intrigue and petty revenge for a seemingly solemn bridge. Time spent in the Jewish Quarter was sobering as it was fascinating. There are so many varied stories packed into such a tight space, and they would certainly have remained hidden to the likes of my obtuse self without a competent guide who was able to answer nearly every question of mine, with the exception of a bizarre footless statue which has been a mystery for ages. After the tour we had drinks at the historic Louvre Cafe and I was supplied with some intriguing recommendations for the rest of my stay in Prague. So if you would like to enjoy a charming and enlightening morning, I implore you to considered the Naked Breakfast Tour. Be warned, you may encounter nudity on this tour. In the form of statues, don't worry.

Description

Our special early morning tour begins at 8 am at the Charles Bridge. This is the best time of the day to visit the bridge, as it is still quiet and peaceful at this early hour. Your guide will lead you across the bridge and help you decode the symbolism of the statues.

Next, you'll enter the former Jewish Ghetto and learn about the life of Prague’s large Jewish population throughout the centuries.

Afterwards, you’ll return to the Old Town Square to investigate its monuments.

You’ll then pass the Estates Theatre, where Mozart premiered his Don Giovanni, en route to the final stop – the Church of Our Lady of the Snows – one of the most hidden and certainly one of the most beautiful churches in Prague.

We'll provide you with our Naked Guide map of Prague. Your guide will be more than happy to mark some personalised suggestions for you.

We had a wonderful and informative although rainy morning walking around Prague on the bright and early breakfast tour with our guide Stefan. He is a well informed and personable young man whose interest in the history, architecture and historical figures of Prague was impressive and infectious. He is like the teacher whose class you really liked, we learned so much and found ourselves referring to things we had learned throughout our visit. The small group size of 8 is a real plus, and our group was even smaller, so we essentially had a private tour. I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone who wants a superb overview.
Had a wonderful tour with guide Stefan. You will enjoy the early 8am start, when streets are practically bare and the sun is rising over Praha. Informative and helpful, you will leave more knowledgeable about the city, it's origins and about life in Praha (then and now). Ending with breakfast is a great way to chat informally about everything and anything. Would recommend, just the astronomical clock stop is well worth the price of admission! Děkuji !
