Description

Are you looking for a comprehensive tour so you can tick off all of the top attractions in the Old Town? Join us for our next walk!

The tour starts at the top of Wenceslas Square, which witnessed all major revolutions and military parades throughout the 20th century. A stroll down the square takes you through the Lucerna Palace and the Franciscan Garden, well hidden from tourists but well known to locals who want to escape the daily hustles and bustle of the city.

You’ll hear many interesting stories along the way: about an unfinished coronation church, how the third-oldest university in Europe was built and why locals complained about a theatre that later hosted Mozart.

Experience an amazing journey through all styles of architecture you can think of: Gothic, Renaissance, baroque, rococo, gorgeous art nouveau and cubism.

Want to make sure you’ll see all of the major sights? Just tick them off along the way: Wenceslas Square, the Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock and the Týn Church, the Estates Theatre, Charles University, Municipal House, the Powder Tower, House of the Black Madonna, the Church of St. James, the Jewish Quarter with the Old New Synagogue and the Jewish Cemetery, and much, much more…

Great value !
I really enjoyed the tour with Mike and would recommend this as the first thing to do in the city. It gives a very good overview of the history and as you walk through a lot of places you will also know your way around the city.

Day Tour to Kutna Hora from Prague
Michal was outstanding. We were a group of 16. All were seniors but two. The train ride was comfortable and relaxed. Michal was very accommodating and professional in every discussions, from history to architectural design. The lunch was one of the best we had for value and taste throughout our entire trip. There was so much to see in Kutna Hora. It's highly recommended for anyone to include a day tour to Kutna Hora if one were to visit Prague.
Love it
The best!! You will not regret taking up this tour. Mike is very knowledgeable and patient. It is very worth the money spent, I definitely enjoyed it very much. Would highly recommend this

Beat tour in Prague
We took 4 tours in Prague on our journey through Czech and Germany and this was the best tour we had. Our tour was the best and made our tour so personalized because he knew I worked in construction and brewed my own beer so he took us by some local architectural buildings and a local pub to try his favorite beer during our tour. Fantastic experience overall and learned a lot about the communism history in Prague. Highly recommend!
Excellent! Do not miss this tour!
Our tour with Jack (Honza) was fabulous. He was very interested and informative on the subject ...and helped us understand what the Czech Republic went through during years of being occupied by fascists and communists. If you are at all interested in history ...and knowing what this world should prevent happening again ...do not miss this tour! Richard and Angela
