After meeting you at your hotel, your guide will accompany you to the Old Town and briefly introduce you to the history of Prague. You’ll learn how the Astronomical Clock works and see the most important buildings surrounding the Old Town Square.
You’ll then continue on to Wenceslas Square – a site where many historic events took place, especially during the communist era.
Next, you’ll see one of the most beautiful theatres in Prague – the Estates Theatre. It’s located beside the oldest university in the city, founded by Charles IV in 1348.
After passing the House of the Black Madonna – a unique cubist building, and strolling through Ungelt – a place where merchants gathered in the Middle Ages, your guide will lead the way to the Jewish Quarter.
This part of the tour takes you through the Clementinum – a former Jesuit college. It took over 200 years to build this magnificent complex!
The tour ends on the riverbank in front of the famous Charles Bridge with an amazing view of Prague Castle and the Lesser Side.
