Description

Enjoy a trip through the south Bohemian countryside, over rolling hills and past quaint villages, to find yourself in the enchanting medieval town of cesky Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is situated in the southern part of Bohemia, close to the Austrian border and Sumava National Park. The unusually large Renaissance castle with its colorful tower, dating back to 1240, overlooks the beautifully preserved Old Town from a great hill. The town was also home to the famous painter Egon Schiele, and there is a museum dedicated to him here.

This quaint little village with its cobblestone streets, unique cafes, art galleries, and antique shops practically exudes Bohemian charm, all under the shadow of the great castle across the river.

Please note, to help maximize your experience, we will be accompanied by a local expert or historian (based on availability) for the short walk while we are in Cesky Krumlov.
