Description

Tour along Royal Route of Prague. 3,5 hours long. Former coronation road through Prague for Czech kings and queens.
It began on the spot of former royal court that does not exist anymore. Today we can find there the Obecní dům. Then it went through Celetná street, through the Old Town square and all the way to the Charles Bridge.

This long line of riders consisting of the best men (and queen) of Bohemia then had to get over the bridge. There they were greeted by massive crowds of people along the way. Then they had to climb the hill leading to the Prague Castle, where a king and a queen were coronated in the St.Vitus cathedral.

As this route leads through the most popular attractions of the Prague’s city centre, it is the most popular route for tourists. If you take this route accompanied by an experienced guide, you will learn so much things about Prague’s history and present.

Even though Prague looks different than it looked in 15th century, street lines are actually very same or almost the same, as they once were. Therefore if you walk on the Royal Route, you walk in the steps of the old kings and queens.
