Great ride to Karlstejn castle with Taryn and Sean. It took about 3 hours of beautiful views along the river and charming Czech towns. We had great weather and it was a really nice day. Once we got there we had a chance to eat lunch and check out the medieval castle built by King Charles IV before heading back to Prague on the train. Definitely recommend.

Description

Enjoy a scenic 36-kilometre bike ride along the Vltava River to the magnificent Karlstejn Castle, which dates back to 1348. And there’s no need to worry about getting lost! Enjoy peace of mind with a complementary GPS navigator and detailed maps. If you only want to ride one way, train connections are available for the return journey.

Head to our office at 9:30 am Tuesday to Sunday to meet likeminded people who also want to enjoy a ride through the spectacular Czech countryside.

Karlstejn Castle offers three guided tours every day (except Mondays).

This trip was really fun. The staff made sure that everyone had a comfortable bike that was set at the correct height. Even if you are only in the city for a few days, the ride is a good way to get out of the Prague and see the Czech countryside. Karlstejn is a picturesque town with great little restaurants and shops. The view from the top of the castle is unbeatable.
