Why locals love it

This small chocolate shop is located in one of the restored Colonial houses of La Ronda street, one of the oldest in town dating back Inca times. Ecuadorians are very proud of being one of the most important world producers of the finest aroma cocoa seeds.

Why you should visit it

Swiss Bertrand Indemini married the Ecuadorian Cristina Baez and together are the responsible for producing a high quality craft chocolate. Their daughter Christina often explain tourists all the process of chocolate's manufacturing from the plantation to the elaboration of bonbons and the history of the world's oldest cocoa found in Ecuador!

Special tip

Taste the truffles stuffed with passion fruit, rose petals or "pájaro azul" liquor and the cakes!
