Why locals love it

This is a Historicist building designed for the Chiriboga family residence in 1936 by the Mexican architect of Italian ancestry Rubén Vinci, a majestic construction of a wide area of more than 2.000 m2. This palace won a prize in 1937. There are some shops there now.

Why you should visit it

All the facade was covered with beautiful ceramic tiles. It is impressive to see the dome of the corner and the details of the balconies. The Espejo St. is for pedestrians, so it would be easy to look for the best angle in order to capture this wonderful example of architecture in your camera.
