An Old Palace, a new hotel!

Gangotena Palace

Why locals love it

This was the residence of the Gangotena family since 1700s. The foundations of the manor house are dated back Inca times. In 1914, the owners hired the Italian architects Russo brothers in order to refurbish the old colonial house and transform into the current palace that now is a hotel.

Why you should visit it

This is one of the most ambitious restoration projects of Colonial Quito. This is an exquisite piece of art and architecture of the early decades of 20th century. The eclectic facade was totally restored and every detail worth a picture.
