This is the oldest closed market of Quito since 1897. It is located in the traditional neighborhood of San Roque. This is a varied market where locals come to buy fruits, vegetables, poultry and meat, but specially for those who believe in the healers that practice ancestral medicine.

This is the first market prized by the Municipal Corporation of Tourism Promotion as a Sustainable and Touristic Market. Its is very clean and colorful. You have a great variety of fruits from all the regions of Ecuador, as well as typical foods served in the foods' court.
