Monastery of San Diego

Why locals love it

San Diego is one of the oldest monasteries built by the Franciscan monks in 1599. Next to the monastery there is the oldest cemetery of the city and there is the legend of the 17th century priest Manuel de Almeida, one of the most enigmatic in the popular belief.
