Why you should visit it

The mural was made in ceramic tiles by local artist Pavel Egüez and inaugurated in 2014 as a visual memory of tortured, murdered and disappeared people. Some of the characters you'll see are Chilean dictator Pinochet of Ecuadorian former president Febres Cordero accused of tortures and disappearances,as well as the Nobel Prize Rigoberta Menchú.

Special tip

The sidewalk is not so wide and during the week is busy, so if you want a good picture, stand in the gardens of the Casa de la Cultura.
