This is one of the oldest and most traditional nuns' convents in town since its founding in 1592. You never see the nuns because they are cloistered, but they make tradicional products that are sold in a turnstile. There is also a bench that was used by a nun that is said that it helps couples who cannot have children, so they come and seat.

The art collection has paintings and sculptures dating back Colonial times, made by local artists such as Bernardo de Legarda, as well as some belongings and old toys that were taken by the nuns in the convent. The choir is simply stunning and the church ceiling is unbelievable! The ir the chance to get the bell tower going up an spiral staircase
Don't miss to go to the turnstile and buy some of the products made by the nuns. Colonies, natural medicines and wine are offered.
