OchoyMedio is one of the first Cultural Cinemas in town created in 2001 in La FLoresta neighborhood by a group of local actors and directors, with the idea of promoting Independent World Cinema. they organize different Film Festivals all the year around from Ecuadorian films, European, LGBTI, Ecological movies, etc. The Coffee shop is amazing!

Why you should visit it
This is the best place to watch Independent cinema in Quito. Most of the films are in their original languages with Spanish subtitles. The coffee shop is managed by Rio Intag project, a region of farmers that harvest some of the best coffees of Ecuador!
