Why you should visit it
Papallacta is located in the dormant crater of the Chakana volcano, very near the Antisana volcano and on the slopes of the Eastern Andes mountain range. The landscape is marvelous, the infrastructure is complete with facilities for different budgets from backpackers to couples looking for a more private resort.
Special tip
To spend at least one night in one of the cabins with chimney and small thermal swimming pool.
