Why you should visit it

This was a shrine and an astronomical observatory built in 800 AD by the Yumbo Culture. This was a civilization of traders that linked the Coast with the Highlands and the Amazonia through the commerce. The scenery is impressive and the archaeological complex is really stunning and enigmatic and mystic.

Special tip

Don't miss to visit the circular pool. This was used for special ceremonies.
