The viewpoint is located in a very traditional neighborhood of the historical district called San Juan. This is also one of the oldest in town dating back Inca times. There is a school next to the viewpoint, so it is common to come here and see a lot of children playing around. The setting is something unbelievable!

In a clear morning, you can see the historical district in all its splendor and in front of you some of the most outstanding volcanoes such as Antisana, Cotopaxi and Ilinizas. From this viewpoint you can understand the real dimension of the dramatic geography of Quito.
Get down the stairs and go to the bridge you have there. If you don't have vertigo, you will see a huge ravine!
