This is a very popular coffee shop franchise created by Richard Peet and Soledad Hanna in Guayaquil city in 1997. since then, they have created 59 cafeterias in Quito and Guayaquil specialized in Ecuadorian coffee and homemade desserts.
The coffee comes from the areas of Cariamanga (Southern Andes) and Zaruma (Southern Coast) and Jipijapa (Central Coast). They work with local farmers and the result is a high quality coffee. The desserts are delicious and varied, although they also offer some salty snacks!
