Why locals love it
This is the easiest way to go up the Pichincha volcanic complex, from Quito at almost 3.000 meters until 4.100 meters. From the station on top there is an impressive view of all the city from the North to the South. Some locals come with their bikes or some other prefer to climb until the crater.

Why you should visit it
The view from here is stunning and really breathtaking. The landscape of the mountain is also wonderful. Ecuador is a volcanic country with more than 85, but if you don't have time to visit some of them, this is a good choice to go up and touch the sky.
Special tip
If you want to climb till the crater, you need to hire a local guide. Some tourists have lost. Take a chocolate or coca for the altitude!
