Description

First stop at Bolivar Theater, inaugurated in 1930 as one of the best Art Déco examples. In here, we will taste several varieties of Ecuadorian coffee with a very complete explanation of its history and cultivation.

After this, the tour will continue to the Monastery of Santa Catalina, founded in 1597. Around 20 cloistered nuns live here. They make craft products that you can by through a turnstile. This is the only contact you can have with them!

The tour will continue along the Junín St. where we will visit the Hotel Boutique Casa San Marcos, set on a 1697 restored house with a 1920's Eclectic facade. The main living room is stunning! Walking will continue to the Museum and Archive of Architecture of Quito with a nice maquete of the old town and other of Pre-Columbian settlement.

The tour also includes visit to the Museum of Watercolor and the Ortiz Bilbao House where there is an Art Gallery and a antique shop. Then we'll have a craft beer tasting in an alternative gallery..
