Description

What is the origin of the Islam? Who was Muhammad? What is the relation between the Arabs with Spain and Portugal? Actually some of the best masterpieces of Muslims' art and architecture are in the Spanish cities of Granada, Seville and Toledo.

This tour will start with an Arabic coffee in Café Galletti, where we will introduce the Arabs history. Then we will visit the astonishing monastery of Santo Domingo (1580) with the chance of climbing to the top of its impressive domes!

Afterwards we will go to the Jesuits' Church, all covered with gold and with many Arab elements in its decoration and construction. The church of San Francisco and its monastery is considered one of the finest jewels of colonial architecture in the Americas.

We will finish in La Merced church with is white color and high minaret. History, art, music and poetry in one adventure!
