The Church of Gustav Adolf is already the fourth in that place. The former have always been dismantled due to poor structures. The poor condition of the previous church was discovered as early as 1769, and a decision was made to build a new church in 1791. The church was consecrated in 1803.
The consecration day was also the memorial day of Gustav II Adolf, so the church was named after him. The Eurajoki church can accommodate 650 people.
