Why locals love it
The large islands of Nurmes and Aikonmaa, lies also in Rauma's Bothnian Sea National Park area. Islands have almost 20 kilometers of easy-to-reach hiking trails and are a great place to get closer to Rauma's archipelago diverse wilderness. Hiking trails for self-guided or guided hiking are signposted.
Why you should visit it
In the feel of the marked passageways you can find old archipelago farms as well as remnants from the times of World Wars, among the nature wonders.
