Progressive museum in the center of Kópavogur. It was build in the memory of Gerður Helgadóttir, a renowned sculpturer. The museum holds around 20 exhibition each year by both local and foreign artists.
It's a lovely museum with sometimes quite intriguing exhibitions. It's unfortunate that they closed the coffeehouse on the first floor this january, but the museum store has a small, yet nice, selection for the art lovers.
The surrounding is nice, especially the nearby church. Walk up there and witness the spectacular view.
