Why locals love it
Kol is a new & trendy place on the top of Skólavörðustígur. The atmosphere is cozy and the interior is charming (topped with a beautiful falcon painted by a local artist Inga María. It's a nice place also for a warm cup of tea with a good friend.
Why you should visit it
This ambitious place offers good food with the price being little on the high end, but it's worth it. The salmon is delightful and the tuna taco is fantastic (with tuna, bacon, ginger and avocado). The 250gr ribeye, topped with bernaise, is also highly recommended.
Special tip
Can't go wrong with the selection of four from the kitchen.
