It's a small and cozy little retreat in the busy street of Laugavegur, the main shopping street of Reykjavik. The atmosphere is friendly and the decorations might have been nicked from the owners grandparents. For me, the main attraction has normally been their lovely sandwiches and the soups.
It has sandwiches to die for and the occasionally served french meat soup is destined to warm up your body after a cold and long day of window-shopping. Soup of the day is a safe bet for the wandering tourist. The crowd varies from young artists to a friendly old couples sharing a cattle of tea.
Almost any sandwich on the menu is sure to be a delight. Ask for a refill for a coffee, as it is supplementary.
