The Culture center serves as a venue for Icelandic national heritage. It hosts various exhibitions which on selected national treasures. Old manuscrips, for example from the Icelandic sagas, are exhibitioned here.
Why you should visit it
Iceland is a big literature country and the locals are very proud of their heritage. The manuscripts displayed are incredibly well-preserved and the staff is extremely knowledgable.
Special tip
They offer guided tours in English four times a week and once in a while in danish.
