On our last day in Iceland we decided to book up a tour to see some of the beautiful places Iceland has to offer......You never know what to expect when booking a trip where there are so many tours on offer, therefore the little details can make or break a Tour. Firstly our host Oli, in his beast of a 4x4 (super comfy) that could go anywhere was superb...he made the tour, his friendly, knowledgeable, interesting and outgoing personality was a joy to be with, which is key especially when you're spending a long day together. The day was flexible with photo opportunities when ever you wanted to stop. The places we visited were amazing, and Oli went that extra mile to show us places of considerable beauty off the beaten track. If you are visiting Iceland, a tour is a must and with Oli as your guide, you will leave Iceland with a smile on your face. Thank you Oli we had a blast... Chris

Our first destination will be the beautiful Þingvellir National Park where Alþingi, Iceland’s first parliament, was established in AD 930. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.

Next, we’ll travel along the mountain road of Lyngdalsheiði and pass the Laugarvatn lake on our way to the famous Geysir Hot Spring Area where you’ll see the Strokkur geyser erupt every 5–7 minutes. We’ll then take a short drive to Iceland’s best-known waterfall, Gullfoss, which cascades 32 metres down into the mighty Hvíta glacial river.

After seeing Gullfoss up close and listening to its thunderous roars, we’ll stop for lunch at the Gullfoss Restaurant. We’ll then drive along a mountain track to Iceland’s second-largest glacier, Langjökull, where you’ll have the chance to experience an unforgettable 1-hour snowmobile tour (optional extra).

We had a brilliant day. Totally recommend this company. Our guide Reynir was interesting, knowledgeable and also really good fun, as was our driver. Our jeep seemed to get to each place with plenty of time for us to enjoy it at our own pace before the convoy of coaches arrived. Being in a jeep meant that there were plenty of places we could visit that the coaches couldn't. The snowmobiling was a great addition. Top day, thank you.
At the recommendation of a friend, my friend and I booked the 4x4 tour of the Golden Circle and Glacier with Oli. As we discovered when Oli arrived to pick us up, no one else had booked for this day so we essentially got a private tour of these amazing sights. We knew the tour would be the highlight of our trip - and even then, it exceeded our expectations. The national park, the geyser, the waterfalls, the volcanic hole and the countryside were all incredible - but the glacier was truly phenomenal. It felt like walking on the moon, and it was unlike anything else we had ever seen - and this alone made the price of the tour worth it. We also can't say enough about Oli - throughout the day, he relayed fascinating history about Iceland and his experience living there, and welcomed our questions about the history, the culture, etc. He was a gracious host/tour guide, very funny, and an expert offroading driver. We learned so much, and got to see so much during a very fun day. Highly recommend.
