Horse Riding Tour in a Lava Field near Reykjavík

This horse riding tour was fantastic. We went on the 2 hours lava field walk. They break you off into experienced and beginner groups. Beginner group goes at a nice walking pace so you can take in the countryside views. They do break off again if you gain confidence and want to move a little quicker. We chose to stay on the nice saunter pace walk and thoroughly enjoyed it. By and large the horses follow each other but some of the naughtier ones are more fun to handle. The guides seem to know which ones those are and keep a good eye on you without following you everywhere you go. Guides are really friendly and take photos for you half way around which was a nice added bonus. There is a coffee / tea / very light snack selection there for afterwards if you're so inclined. Would definitely go back again and again, really enjoyed it.
