If you prefer indie movies, then this place is for you! This small and cozy cinema, located in an old apartment in the quiet city centre, was founded in 2002 and now the 70-seat venue holds three to four screenings every day.

Why you should visit it
On their website's English section they list films screened in English or with English subtitles. They also regularly organise special events, like film introduction by local film directors and actors. Very democratic ticket fees and discounts for students. Before the film you can spend time in the small cafe. Entrance from the yard.
Special tip
After the film you can pop by in one of the cafes/bars on the nearby Antonijas Street. Art-Nouveau street, Alberta Street, is also around the corner.
