Located in the peaceful Āgenskalns district on the other side of the Daugava river, this place is worth visiting if you want to escape the crowded city centre. This small and cozy cafe is run by Liene Zemīte who became popular with her TV show "Lapsa virtuvē" (Fox in kitchen), hence the name of this cafe - Fox's home.

Why you should visit it
Spend a lazy afternoon, enjoying a good coffee with freshly baked cake or traditional Latvian bun or pie, and read a book (available from cafe), while locals pop in on their way to the nearby historic Āgenskalns food market. Cafe also serves breakfast, soups, salads, pastas.
Special tip
Worth visiting nearby is a branch of the local craft beer house Labietis, hidden in a small local supermarket in wooden building opposite the market.
