The biggest part of the population participated in the unarmed resistance, courageously facing the unknown. Most of the people are still among us, living witnesses of history.

How does a small, new country fight for its freedom against a big and powerful Soviet Union? The Museum of the Barricades is the place where the personal stories wind together with the political context and the management of this historical event.
