Daily Bike Ride provided us with a really cool experience: biking outside of the historic old town. We spent time going through and learning the history of the Moscow neighborhood. Our guide, Arsiniy, was fantastic. I highly recommend using them.

I was the only one on the tour, so I had my guide to myself! I got a good bike, and we spent the next hours getting from Riga out to the coast. The very knowledgeable young man who guided me told me a lot of interesting stuff about Riga and Latvia, and we discussed everything from middle ages-history to the cold war, to what kind of trees we could see to animals to literature, language and movies. Needless to say, I found it to be well worth the 45 euros that it cost.
When we came to Jurmala we ate food at a restaurant serving traditional dishes and beer. Then, came the thunderstorm and rainfall of the decade! So we took the train back! I can recommend this company!

Jūrmala Beach Bike Tour from Riga

My husband and I joined Marcus on the daily bike tour outside of Old Town. We had a fantastic time riding through the lesser visited parts of the city, particularly the Moscow District. We visited parts of the city that we certainly would not have seen on our own, but were glad we did as the contrasts to Old Town are quite large. The tour was informative, interesting and highly recommended if you are looking to get out of Old Town and explore a bit. Thanks Marcus!

Superb,Efficient, Friendly Tour Company

I thoroughly enjoyed my very informative, relaxed bike tour. It was an extremely easy way of seeing all the historical /cultural sights including on the outskirts of Riga. I also met some interesting people on the tour and had some great conversations.
All the staff speak very good English.
After the tour James who is originally from England gave me several restaurant and places to go tips which made the rest of my trip EXCEPTIONAL!

We were lucky enough to tag along on a cycling tour to the Jurmala Sea Resort area. Our guide James is a fantastic fountain of knowledge! Our group of 5 were treated to a scenic ride through the backstreets and countryside of Latvia with a swim in the Baltic Sea and an authentic Latvian lunch (hint: whatever you do don't order the 'Herring in a Fur Coat'!).

This was a fantastic experience, and a great way to see Riga/Latvia. Thanks James!

8 of us, all adults, had a day to spend in Riga. So, we contacted E.A.T. to take their bike tour of the city. We definitely chose the right company. Artis was our guide and he went over and above the time we had allotted for the tour. And, he took us to locations that we asked about so it was a tour made especially for us. The price of 15 Euros is well worth it and you do get your money's worth!
A definite recommendation.

Excellent bike tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour! We visited the Art Noveau district as well as other lesser known parts of the city. Our guide was amazing! He was a young gentleman who thoroughly explained what we were seeing and where we were going. He made sure that everyone was with the group at all times and was safe. I would highly recommend this tour as a great way to see new parts of Riga as well as learn about its history.

Fantastic way to explore the forests and beaches of Jurmala

We took a relaxed and beautiful ride out of Riga and into the lovely pine forests. Our guide beguiled us with fascinating stories of modern day life in Latvia as well its tempestuous past. We spent some time on the beach drinking local beer and then went to the pedestrian street to eat lunch where the locals ate. A great way to see and experience more of Latvian life. Highly recommend the tour.

Great Fun and an Authentic View of Riga

We had quite the interesting adventure through Moscow Town, It seemed that everyone was drunk and several people ready to share their thoughts with us. Through this, our tour guide, Agnes, did a great job of keeping it together. Not that were ever in danger but a couple of our more skittish tourists would have not enjoyed the adventure. Seriously, it was great to see. Highly recommended.

James was a great tour guide, highly knowledgeable on both the location and the history of Riga. His tour was highly flexible for a large group and all the bikes were well maintained and comfortable. He took 13 men around Riga on the bikes and showed us a good variety of places. All 13 of the people on the tour commended his work.

We went on the tour with Arthur and cycled Into a very special part of Riga we would never have explored by ourself. Arthur gave us lots of interesting informations, showed us an awesome local kind of bar and gave our souls some Balsam ;-) we had a great night and will definitely recommend this great Tour to everyone!

A nice day in a autumn forest

We started in the old city center. Quickly we went to the Island of Ķīpsala. Here we had a nice view of the old city. The guide explained something about the buildings that we could see from the vieuw point.
After a short round on Ķīpsala and seeing some nice restored buildings.
Than we started our journey to Jūrmala. It was a long but fun ride. Nice rouds throu the forrest.
Jūrmala has very nice buildings, only al the new appartmentbuildings aren't very nice the old houses are very nice.
If you aren't sporty the way back to Riga center is a hard task. So we went by train. This wasen't very expensive.
We had a nice day and learnt some nice things about Riga and Jūrmala.

Great tour and guide Didzis

Really enjoyed this tour. Great way to see the countryside around Riga. The guide was very laid back and interesting - learnt lots about Latvia from him. We had a nice in lunch when we arrived in Jurmala. We cycled there and back but there was the option of taking the train back. The tour was great but if you'd like feedback on how to make it even better, I'd suggest having short stops along the way at points of interest to tell interesting stories as only the person cycling beside the guide can hear what is being said. Also incorporate some tourist attractions in to the tour if possible.

Nice tour around Riga with arty surprises

Nice tour by bike around Riga. There is now Riboca (Riga Biennial of Contemporary Art) and we have seen some public artworks, surprisingly! The guide told us also about more common touristic parts, like the Judendstill area. He was well informed, open to questions, payed good attention and care to the safety of the group.

The guide made med feel poor and rude

The tour was advertised as a free tour and it was certainly not. The guide gave specific instructions on how to tip and he made me feel bad.
I had paid EUR 12 for the arrangement in front. The 4 other guys paid EUR 10 on the same day. As we were only a little group of 5 people the expectations for a tip was higher. At the end of the tour the guide directed us to pay EUR 10 and I decided to pay EUR 8 (for me it is a quite big tip) since I live on a budget and since I already had paid EUR 12. The guide looked very disappointed at me, it was quiet in the room and the he asked several times if something was wrong. However a woman from New Zealand saved the day as she suggested to tip EUR 30 and even the tour guide understood that he could not accept that amount. Please guys be a little more gentle and advertise your exact expectations next time.
