This trail brings you to Ķemeri – a former sulfur water and mud resort town, once famous, it has fallen from its former glory, only architectural monuments are left to speak of the former splendour of the Ķemeri resort. Ķemeri is a very lovely town with romantic wooden architecture, perfect for all.
What is waiting for you on this hike? Exciting walk around Ķemeri historical resort sites with a breath of history, lovely wooden architecture, wet broadleaf forest and the Black Alder swamp boardwalk allowing you to see absolutely wild nature without getting your feet wet, peaceful hike along the Green Dune on a nice path leading through the woods and the swamp, colorful sulfur water ponds in the Swamp of the Witches, and hopefully – a lot of adventures! Oh, and let’s not forget – approximately 22 km and five hours of fresh Latvian air!
