Why locals love it
Most of historical buildings in northern region of Riga- Vecmilgrāvis have been destroyed during Soviet times and ugly brick buildings build instead. But luckily main attraction - Ziemeļblāzma castle and park survived and two years ago totally renovated.

Why you should visit it
Park and castle itself is very beautiful - nice arbors, children's playground, fountains, cafe. But it offers much more- different art exhibitions, concerts and other events took here place. Check home page for calendar.

Do not miss watching tower, it offers beautiful view over park.
