Why locals love it
One of the few places in Rio where the party-hardy locals -who take their electro very seriously- go. This little subterranean club is a popular spot with a wide range of parties that goes late into the night or even daylight hours.
Why you should visit it
Tiny as a matchbox, the name of this underground nightclub is easy to explain ( fosforo means match in Portuguese). Electronic music is very well represented here. It’s a good place to go if you are somewhere else and want to continue the party as the scene start very, very late, sometimes at 2am.

The best parties are electronic but they do play other sounds so keep an eye on their calendar.
