The trail for Morro da Urca is one of them.With a beautiful view and easy trekking this urban hike is perfect for exercising. And as Urca is a Military area, it's a pretty safe zone to walk.
Why you should visit it
If you are into outdoor sports, nature, climbing, this maybe your treat. It starts at Claudinho Coutinho path, on Praia Vermelha's left side. Pay attention to the trail entrance. You will hike the smaller hill from Sugarloaf, and get to the first cable car stop. It's quite easy to walk, just 30 minutes. The reward is: A stunning view.
Special tip
To get down you can take the cable down for free after 6pm - or 7pm during summertime - as the trail closes.
