We go there for a lot of reasons: to find shadow, to have breakfast, to do art courses – there are lots of them in the Parque – all that in a gorgeous mansion built by one of the most important families in Rio. And the place hosts some very interesting parties, intriguing art exhibitions of student’s works and an amazing garden as well.
Why you should visit it
An old tv advertisement used to say that Cariocas are always looking for different sights of the most famous monument around, the Christ. It’s true, and Parque Lage has its own Christ’s particular sight. A walk in the garden is something you should really try in a hot day.
