This traditional restaurant serves fresh seafood since 1884. It’s the oldest restaurant in the city. It's a good choice for a business lunch in the very elegant saloon or for a typical Friday’s happy meal in the balcony outside, with better prices.
They invented a seafood soup called "leao veloso", our adaption of the french bouillabaisse - today available in many restaurants around town. But you should definitely go for the "crayfish bobo", a typical Brazilian dish made of manioc cream, crayfish and dende oil.
In the back of the restaurant there's an outside sitting area, with almost the same menu, small portions and reasonably cheaper.
