The best samba group in Rio plays here, they are known as Samba de Lei. They used to play in Pedra do Sal till it gets too popular and of course, crowded. So, they moved to this place, Arco dos Telles and it was an amazing choice! Arco dos Telles is a beautiful and historic place in Rio and it's in downtown, so pretty much close to everything.

Why you should visit it
It's for sure best samba in town. Where you can really feel and experience what the traditional samba is, what is not shown in carnival and television. Where you can see people celebrating life, singing, and dancing in the streets with all the joy and freedom. Excellent place to enjoy good music, drink some beers and experience brazilian culture.
Special tip
Give a try in the local cachaças, 'batida de gengibre' (ginger cachaça) is the best.
