Why you should visit it

The Tijuca Forest is one of the biggest urban forests in the world. There are all kinds of trails and some enable beautiful views of the city. The trails receive maintenance and are well sign-posted. There is also a trail adapted for wheelchairs.

Special tip

The entrance is free. There are two restaurants, but carry cash because they don't accept cards. And forget about cellphone signal in some parts.
