Why you should visit it
Borgo Pio is a small historic neighbourhood located just beyond the walls of the Vatican in the heart of Rome. Here you can take a pleasant stroll through ancient alleyways past small trattorias and bars. It’s a quiet and traditional area where you can easily escape the crowds.
Special tip
Look out for the small fountain in the middle of Piazza del Catalone.
