If you can't stand the summer heat, take a stroll through the Eternal City by night. Romans love to take pleasant walks and one of our very favourite places to go in the city centre is the Campidoglio on the Capitoline Hill.
Why you should visit it
Walk on top of the Capitoline Hill and enjoy the stunning view of the Archeological Site by night! Take romantic pics and let yourself be led by the Roman wind... especially at the end of a summer day, when you have to face the heat. Descend from the hill and two steps away from Piazza Venezia, you can opt for a tour of the Colosseum.

Once arrived in the Campidoglio Square, walk straight ahead to enjoy the amazing view on the Archeological Site
