This modern, hipster-ish (in a good way) little restaurant slash bar (of both the coffee and cocktail varieties) is just what Rome needed. With windows replacing most of the walls (the daily menu is written directly on the panes), it gives a refreshing open-air vibe, and the food boasts non-traditional, delicious twists.
This is a great little place to stop for breakfast or lunch, but it particularly shines at dinnertime—literally, since the fairy lights strung about gift a glowing atmosphere. Sacco is tiny but full of life at all times of the day, with the after-dinner bunch enjoying a cocktail or two at the outdoor tables.
This isn't your average Italian brunch/lunch menu: order yourself a juicy hamburger, whether you prefer beef or vegeterian. Don't skip dessert!
