Best Experience Ever!
My daughter and I couldn’t be happier with our experience with this studio. Both mosaicists were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in educating us about the history of mosaics and their construction. More than that, both were wonderfully warm, caring, engaging people who clearly love what they do. We took the 2 hour class but had such a good time we’ll plan to take their 4 day class the next time we’re in Rome. As a side note, they made an exception for my daughter, who is 6, as their classes are usually for older children. Both artists were so patient with her that she’s hooked on making mosaics!

Fantastic experience - Highly recommended
I've visited Rome a few times so I was seeking a more local experience so chose this tour. Other friends were arriving into Rome so in the end we were 6 (mid age) women. Nicola our guide could not have been more accommodating, apart from the murals we also wanted to stop and sample some food/wine along our route so he happily incorporated this too into our ride. What we all really loved was exploring another side of Rome away from the tourists and the classic must sees, on this tour we visited exciting and quaint neighbourhoods and saw how the local folk really live and some really fantastic murals! Nicola was informative and we learnt some great information too. Nicola is really easy- going and wants you to have a great experience and each of us, regardless of our cycling skills (from near none to a tri-athlete) had a fantastic time. Do yourself a favor and book this tour, you won't regret it.

Perfect last evening in Rome!
My friend and I were visiting from London and wanted to try something new while in Rome. We decided to take the cooking class on the last night of our trip. We were greeted by Francesca's family with open arms and learnt how to make all difference flavour combinations of pizza from scratch, including how to make the perfect dough.

Francesca was a great teacher and we have come away with lots of hints and tips to create the best pizza in Roma :)

Me and my friend took the bus to Francesca's from the City centre and was an easy journey on public transport which was great.

Thank you Francesca and your lovely family for letting us into your home and for teaching us your secrets! We will be hosting many pizza parties at home in your honour, with Italian beer of course! :) x

Excellent
This was a rally good way to spend half a day in Rome. Juliana was really passionate about her work, and gave us a great insight into ancient mosaic. None of us are remotely artistic, but we all managed to create something that we will treasure. Thank you

family pizza perfect
We, father and 14 year old daughter, booked the pizza cooking class & dinner with Francesca and her family the night before and we are so happy we did: it was one of the absolute highlights of our stay in Rome. Francesca was kind enough to arrange transportation (striking bus drivers and no taxi's available) to make the evening possible. We were welcomed by Francesca's lovely parents in their nice apartment and after a brief introduction we set to work: making pizza dough while sharing food stories and having some aperitivos was a great ice breaker and Pino was a very amusing and skilled teacher. We started to make pizza's and had great samples and learned some secret family recipes and ingredients. We set to the table and after about 10 shared pizza's, nice drinks, coffee & dessert we left very inspired. We felt very welcome and had a fabulous evening and have taken on to make pizza's with our own guests now and we always have great success! Thank you Francesca and cari saluti ai tuoi genitori - we hope to be back some day! Maud & Jan

What an education!
A really great tour. So much information we learned about the Coliseum, Forum, Palantine Hill, and Pantheon. It was worth it to skip the line. Crowds of people everywhere. It would have been exhausting to try and do this on our own. One word of advice, bring a water bottle. So many places to fill up and keep hydrated. I would highly recommend this tour!

Hadrian's Villa and Villa D'Este: Complete Delight
Nicole did an amazing job in showing the highlights of both locations and enriching my understanding and appreciation with background information. I can't stress it enough. Anyone can go to the places and walk around, but it was the guide's context and knowledge that made the day the wonderful expereince it was. These places were built to be magical, transformative, and impressive; and she gave us a lense through which to view them that way. Book with Rome Your Way, and ask for Nicole. You will not be disappointed!
Tivoli Day Trip from Rome including Hadrian's Villa & Villa d'Este
We had a great day on this trip!
I was hesitant to book a day trip when we only had a a few days in Rome but I am very glad that we did! Hadrian's Villa was fascinating and the gardens and fountains at Villa d'Este were beautiful. They arranged for lunch at a restaurant in Tivoli and it was quite good. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Attention All History Buffs!!!!!
This was an awesome tour of Ancient Rome. Our guide was very enthusiastic and very engaging in all the sites we visiting and very informative. As a avid history buff this was a walking tour of my dreams from visiting the Colossuem, Pantheon, to see the site were Julius Ceasar was murdered I was in awe to be literally walking in history. My only advise is to be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring an extra battery for your camera.

Fantastic tour. Our guide Felix was amazing and he took time to explain us everything in detail which was great. We were with our 3.5 year old daughter who was in a buggy however Felix was very calm and helped us manoeuvre some of the rather bumpy roads. His knowledge was excellent and there is no way we would have learnt so much in so less time had we not taken this tour. Thanks Felix!

Rome Evening Walking Tour - with great guide Nicole!
My mum & I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Nicole was brilliant, it was such a relaxed tour, to see Rome at night is so beautiful and some of the streets we walked down were so pretty. we would never have stumbled across them by ourselves. Nicole was full of information and answered any questions we fired her way. Would highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic tour!! A must if you want to see another side of the Eternal City!
This was such a great day! Francesca is a wonderful guide with so many interesting facts and knowledge to impart about her lovely city. I feel like I got an insider look at the art and history of Rome during our afternoon together and loved all the interesting stories she had to share. Francesca is not only knowledgeable but incredibly kind, relaxed and welcoming and it felt like spending the day with a friend. So happy I had the opportunity to do this tour and I cannot recommend it more. Thank you Francesca!

Humble masters.
I took the Ancient Mosaics course, and it was truly a highlight of my trip to Rome. This studio and its artists has itself a rich history; they are masters of the art form but so humble about it.

While I'm not talented, I like to be creative, and so this course was perfect. I learned a great deal about the history, obtained the basic skills to take back home, and have a new found appreciation for mosaics.

I would highly recommend this studio and their courses!

Mosaic class
I took a mosaic class, which I loved. The folks at Studio Cassio are really nice & super-smart re mosaics, and they are interested in teaching. I had a one-on-one class for three hours for a very reasonable rate, with a lot of attention. They specialize in ancient Roman mosaic; and I made a small mosaic with the help of the delightful and lovely teacher. It was fun spending time with these folks; and I learned a lot. After spending my days, being a tourist, looking at all the mosaics in churches in Rome, how cool to have the chance craft my own under the tutelage of masters!

Incredible Experience in Rome
My husband and I visited Studio Cassio during our first day in Rome and it was incredible! We had a private lesson with Uliana. She was an excellent teacher- very patient and accommodating. She explained the art of mosaic to us and showed us the tools that are used. We did ancient mosaics using black and white marble (although I had red marble in mine- it's pretty but much harder to cut). I did a dragon like animal mosaic and my hubby did a wave design. She let us know that some of the black and white marble may be from ancient sites like Pompeii or the Vatican, since the studio has done restorations there. We worked on our pieces for several hours and at the end of our time we had a wonderful piece of artwork for each of us to take home. This was one of our most favorite memories from all our travels in Italy in July and the mosaics are keepsakes that we will always treasure. Thank you Uliana for such a great experience! We will visit again if we have the chance to return to Rome!

Book this now! Best money you will spend!
I live in America and I booked this tour off an app--on a whim. I honestly was not sure what to expect. Carlo contacted me a few days before hand and I met him at his studio. We reviewed some locations and the kinds of pictures I was looking for. Then we met the next day. He obviously knows the area very well and knew exactly where to go to get the kind of a asthetic I wanted. I am very happy with the results!
