After meeting at Via Germanico 28, Rome, we will head towards the entrance of the Vatican Museum and pass through security check (Note the Vatican is very busy, and sometimes we do have a waiting time at the group entrance)
Inside the museum you will see the most important galleries and breathtaking masterpieces collection of art: At 75 meters long, the Gallery of the Tapestries is named after the elaborate Flemish tapestries that drape its walls. The Gallery of the Maps, painted between 1580 and 1585, takes its name from the 40 maps frescoed on the walls, representing each of the Italian regions and papal properties at the time of Pope Gregory XIII. The mesmeric Sistine Chapel designed by Michelangelo-a place where Cardinals elect new Pope.
Leave the best for the last, St.Peter's Basilica and famous La Pietà statue. Guided Tour ends with privileged access to St Peter's Basilica, through the Sistine Chapel.
