Don't lose it
I cannot describe in words how marvellous it was. I felt like a friend, not like a tourist. I'm a huge foodie and Selene took to such places I wouldn't be able to find myself. I enjoyed every moment. Selene as a leader was OMG. Such passion, such energy, such sincerity. I think I met the best guide ever. And that was Selene. Definitely will join you next time
Wonderful Team!!!
I would recommend RomaEat to anyone traveling to Rome- especially first timers! Our tour guide made my first visit to Rome a great experience. I felt it was more of an authentic local experience. We ate amazing foods and met wonderful people. Another plus - the groups are kept small. Making for an overall better experience. Thank you RomaEat for a wonderful time! I'm back in the states but dreaming of Roma!! :)
Incredible... A MUST!!!
This experience was incredible -- I just loved it! I'm back home and haven’t stopped raving about this experience yet. I visited Rome many times since and just started doing these experiences to try something new and this one was so worth it. We learned, ate and laughed so much, it was just the most perfect day. The hosts were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. I think this experience should be on every Rome visitor’s to do list. I highly recommend this and can’t wait to do it again!

Don't miss it while in Rome!
Tour was fantastic! I came by myself and had a great time with Selene and other guys, eating best italian specialties, discovering interesting stories and places about amazing Rome. Selene is full of positive energy, highly knowleadgable and very passionate about the city. I would reccomend this tour to everyone, don't miss it while in Rome! :) Laura
Wonderful night of food and fellowship
We take a food tour in about every town that we visit and this Rome food tour was exceptional. We talked and tasted food, learned a bit about the history of Rome and had a wonderful time exploring the city at twilight. Definitely a tour to do within the first couple of nights in Rome as you will leave with more places that you need to explore. Just make sure you go on an empty stomach because you will need the room!
I cried during the cheese tasting...in a good way...
We were in Rome for 3 days this past July and decided to book this tour last minute, the morning of our tasting. Like a Local Guide was able to confirm the reservation by the afternoon. We met Stefano at a local family owned restaurant that had been a part of the family for 150 years. We started with a glass of wine and a local sparkling beverage for my mother and my sister as they were not drinking. Stefano was very knowledgable about Rome and Roman history. We went to places that I would not have gone into on my own.
My favorite part was the cheese tasting. I have a soft spot for cheese and wine in general and we went to this local cheese shop. The owners were so kind to let us come into their store. Stefano had a map of Italy and as we tasted the different cheeses, he talked about the region they came from. The owner let us try this soft blue cheese that was out of this world. Maybe it was the heat (we went during the heat wave), maybe it was the wine, maybe it was the passion with which the Stefano and the owner were discussing the cheeses, but it literally brought tears of gratitude to my eyes. An excellent way to spend the evening that I would not have been able to do on my own.

Gratitude, love, and light!
